Update: Currency Fund Performance April 2.3%!!

April turned out to be one of the most difficult months until now to squeeze out a substantial profit, the fact that we are able to secure a 2.3% performance by the end of April makes us definitely a positive outperformer within the financial sector.

Given the fact that the global financial instability forced most of our competition to present red digits by the end of the month, we are modestly pleased that even though the circumstances have proven to be fairly difficult we are still able to present our clients a positive performance (2.3%).

Mulder FX Update!

Dear clients,

An update from the front of FX trading. This times are very volatile in FX markets. The performance changed and will be change very rapidly. Last week we get a hit in performance, main reason is development in EUR/USD. We could managed a little with some currency pairs like USD/CAD and AUD/USD. Only performance plummeted last week.

FX trading is high risk, because high leverage. So movements like last week are extremely rare but it could happen. I think everyone will agree that stories in EUR, CHF and GBP are spectacular.

Our prediction still stands, EUR will recover from here and we will move above 1.30-1.35 again. Patience is key in this and also money management. Most of the clients are around 10% margin call, so far away of the 1% and our own bottom of margin call of 3,5%.

We believe in our strategy because we had the same period last year. We were in short positions in EUR/USD at 1.45-1.51 and on November when EUR/USD reached 1.5175, we also dropped in performance. Everyone knows what happened in December till now.
On that moment everyone in the markets said 1.60 again and maybe new highs in EUR/USD. Right now everyone talks total different and someone believe a parity in EUR/USD.

We are open for all reactions and opinions. We monitor this every day but we hold on our proved strategy for the coming months.

March 2010 Currency Fund Performance 15,8%

We are well on our way towards Easter Weekend which can only mean one thing, it is already April and is it the time of the month to see how well we have done in March.

Although the month started our pretty rough we have managed to recover most of our positions and even succeeded to squeeze out a 15,8% profit in the end.

Which brings the grand total of the Live-Model Account to a staggering €234,945.

Currency Fund Account 2009 reinstated!!

Dear existing and potential clients, 

A lot of you asked why we have finalised the performance sheet of 2009 and started with a clean 50.000 EUR account at 1 January. For clients who started with us last year this might seem confusing. Given normal circumstanses they could compare their own performance sheet with the performance sheet on display at the website. These last few weeks we have been receiving some questions on this topic.

• Clients like to see a uninterupted trackrecord
• 15% over a new 50.000 account seems psychologicaly more easily to accuire

We have taken your suggestions and questions into consideration and after consulting with our controllers and accountants, we have decided to reinstate the 2009 account (114510),  and will continue to build on our 2009 base performance. We will start to take positions on this account as of immediate effect.

We do have to mention that as of direct result to our focus switch on January 1 to our 2010 account,  the amount of trades on the 114510 has been minimal (as can bee seen on the performance sheet below)

Latest Performance Update Mulder Currency Fund. (January, 2010)

No more trading days left in January, so time to have a look at how well we have done this month. We have managed to make a solid 15,9% gain on our initial starting capital of €50.000.
